How the sniper works

The Railway worker polls the Rutgers Schedule of Classes every 500 ms, compares open/closed status against what was last recorded, and emails your RURate account address when a watched section opens. Status is not live — always confirm in WebReg before planning around it.

RU Rate never auto-registers, never touches WebReg on your behalf, and never stores your NetID. Your watchlist is tied to your authenticated RURate account.
